a good time is what he planned,
not knowing he would be damned,
a drink too much from tequila jar,
and there he went stumbling into his car,
no one noticed, no one cared,
a nice drink is what they shared,
squinting tightly, his vision blurred,
then toward the curb,his car had swerved,
flipping wildly in the air,
slowly hearing his skin tear,
his bones would crush with every spin,
all of this for a single sin,
his lifeless body there it laid,
maybe if he had just prayed.
